The recommended donation for meals is $3.00 for those 60 and better. The fee for those under 60 is $14. 

Routt County Council on Aging is the sole provider of congregate meals in Routt County. We provide freshly prepared, warm, nutritional meals at three meal sites with service four days per week in Steamboat, two days per week in Hayden and three days per week in South Routt. Participants of the age 60 and older are able to use the service free of charge with a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal. Guests under the age of 60 are welcome with a $14 guest fee.

Older adults need access to affordable, quality food. Eating well is important at any age and nutrition plays an important role in the healing process and in maintaining health. Health issues, physical limitations or financial hardship can make it difficult for many older adults to get the nutrition they need. Our program is here to encourage Routt County older adults to remain independent and healthy.

We have three dining rooms in Routt County, each serving on a different schedule. Meal reservations for all sites are required at least 24 hours in advance to allow our cooks to have adequate food prepared for meals.
